He can be a very shy and timid boy, but we have found since starting karate with HVMA 12 months ago he can control his fears and vulnerability so much better. He often stand “strong” to centre himself and calm down when upset or overwhelmed and I love that you have and are helping my little bow grow into a respectable, strong young man. The values you teach at your centre are to be thought of highly. Jayden loves coming to Karate. He often tells me his training days are his favourite days of the week. He did struggle with his last kata but his word were “I think this kata is really hard Mum, but you know what? I’m no going to let it beat me…” I couldn’t be more proud standing here today watching him grade to his next belt.”
