- Waratah: Thursday 6th April 4:00-4:30pm for 3-6yr olds – 4:30-5:15 for 6-9yr olds
- Greenhills: Thursday 6th April 4:00-5:00pm for 3-9yr olds
- Morisset: Wednesday 5th April 4:00-4:30pm for 3-6yr olds – Thursday 4:00-4:45 for 6-9yr olds
“To bully proof our children we must first find a way to build anti-fragility, as well as resilience. We teach our children to collect themselves, consider their options and then to proceed with the best and most appropriate strategy. HVMAC kids have G.R.I.T. Bully proof your child with our five step bully busting plan. Children will learn to alleviate anxiety by developing self confidence and assertiveness.
“We teach the basic strategies to deal with bullying as is taught by schools in NSW. Each afternoon will be themed towards learning when to ignore and when to go with the flow, when and how to speak up, setting boundaries, developing a plan that involves trusted adults and following through with that plan, and basic stranger danger self defence.” Says Sensei Sandy Hayes, Hunter Valley Martial Arts program director.
